Office 365 was adopted by the State of WV this summer. This was a huge improvement over the old email system Convergence. Outlook Email is just the beginning of the tools. With Office 365, everyone in the state from students, cooks, teachers, administrators get an email address, a One Drive with a Terabyte of cloud storage. There is also a built in Calendar, a huge People directory with all the adults in the system in the directory, and Lync messaging. This is a huge leap for us. The best part of the deal is that everyone gets 5 free downloads of Office 2013. This is the entire Professional Suite, not just a stripped down word processor. The ability to run online meetings and for every student to have access to the latest and best tools in the business is huge for our little state. If you need help accessing your Office 365 or signing in to Microsoft Office 2013, contact your TIS. We are here to help!
